Emily & Wide’s Wedding in Santorini
March 6, 2026
I’m sharing this selection to help couples organize their wedding morning and plan the timing of their big day, as well as to provide visual guidance and inspiration for your own preparations.
The bride’s and groom’s mornings took place at different villas, located near one another. We allocated one hour for the groom’s shoot and two hours for the bride’s. To ensure we captured every essential moment, the bride and I created a “wish list” to align her vision with the overall timeline:
- Groom’s Morning: Detail shots, solo portraits, family photos, and a “cheers” session with the groomsmen.
- Bride’s Morning: Detail shots, portraits in wedding robes with bridesmaids, getting into the dress with her sister, first looks with her mother and bridesmaids, and final bridal portraits.
After the morning shoots, we recommend allocating 30 minutes to photograph the décor and atmosphere of your ceremony area. It is vital that both your styling and the décor setup are 100% complete before the photographer arrives at the location.
The ceremony and reception took place on the breathtaking terrace of Venetsanos Winery, offering iconic views of the caldera. For the couple’s photo shoot, we chose the traditional Greek village of Megalochori, known for its charming white-washed alleys and blue-domed churches.
Immediately following the ceremony, we headed out for the couple’s session, leaving the guests on the terrace to enjoy drinks, conversation, and the stunning scenery. We found that 40 minutes in the wedding timeline is the “sweet spot”—perfect for capturing a variety of romantic portraits without keeping you away from the party for too long.
We then returned to the winery to capture the start of the reception and the high-energy emotions of the wedding party. With 8 hours of photo and video coverage, we were able to document everything from the quiet morning preparations to the vibrant celebration under the stars.
Elopement wedding in Santorini аt private villa with Aegean sea view
March 5, 2026
This Santorini elopement wedding took place on the private balcony of a luxury villa overlooking the Aegean Sea. The couple chose a 4-hour wedding photography and videography package, perfectly suited for an intimate destination wedding focused on key moments of the day.
Both the bride and groom prepared in the same villa, using separate rooms. This setup allowed us to efficiently document the wedding preparations, including details, portraits, and candid moments. The morning coverage lasted approximately 1 hour, after which we transitioned directly into the ceremony.
The wedding ceremony was held at the villa, officiated by a professional celebrant who arrived on site. The ceremony setup featured elegant floral décor and a panoramic sea view, creating a clean and timeless backdrop for wedding photography.
Following the ceremony, we captured classic couple portraits at the decorated ceremony area. Afterward, we traveled with the couple to Megalochori, a traditional Greek village known for its authentic architecture, narrow streets, and neutral tones—an ideal location for natural and editorial-style wedding photos.
While the couple was away for their photo walk, the wedding coordinators and decorators transformed the ceremony space into a romantic dinner setup. Upon returning to the villa, the couple enjoyed a private wedding dinner with a sunset view over the Aegean Sea, marking the final part of the coverage.
Below, we share selected images from this Santorini villa elopement to inspire couples planning a destination wedding in Greece.
Вoutique Santorini wedding at Venetsanos Winery | Evgen & Maria
March 5, 2026
Santorini is one of the most iconic destinations for weddings in Greece, and intimate celebrations here have a very special atmosphere. Evgeniy and Maria chose Santorini for their family wedding, creating a calm, elegant, and emotional day surrounded by their closest people and breathtaking views of the caldera.
As a Santorini wedding photographer and videographer, we always focus on telling a real story — not just beautiful images, but the full experience of the wedding day. For this celebration, the couple selected our 8-hour photo and video package, which allowed us to capture the day naturally, without rushing, from morning preparations to the evening celebration.

Wedding Morning at the Same Hotel
The wedding morning took place in the same hotel, with the bride and groom getting ready in separate rooms. The couple decided not to see each other before the ceremony, saving their first meeting for the symbolic and emotional moment during the wedding ceremony.
We began the photography coverage in the bride’s suite. While the stylist was completing the bridal look, we photographed wedding details — the dress, accessories, and carefully chosen elements — using soft natural light that Santorini is famous for. We then continued with bridal portraits in a morning robe, combining classic elegance with a slightly more intimate and feminine feel.
Next, we moved to the groom’s room to capture the atmosphere of his morning. At the same time, the bride changed into her wedding dress. From our experience as destination wedding photographers in Santorini, we always recommend choosing nearby rooms or the same hotel for preparations. This allows us to capture both mornings fully and efficiently. When this isn’t possible, our studio also offers an optional second photographer for parallel coverage.
The groom’s morning included final preparations, relaxed moments with a glass of whiskey and a cigar, solo portraits, and family photos — calm, stylish, and full of anticipation.

Ceremony with a Caldera View at Venetsanos Winery
After the preparations, we returned to the bride for portraits in her final wedding look and family photos. From there, we headed to one of the most stunning wedding venues in Santorini — Venetsanos Winery, known for its panoramic caldera views.
Before the ceremony, we dedicated time to photographing the wedding décor, guest arrivals, and emotional moments leading up to the ceremony. The ceremony itself was intimate, heartfelt, and deeply emotional — the kind of moment that defines a Santorini destination wedding.
Following the ceremony, the couple and their guests enjoyed light appetizers and local wine from the winery. We captured family portraits, couple portraits, and candid moments before continuing with a wedding photoshoot around the island.

Wedding Photoshoot Around Santorini
Exploring the island was an important part of the couple’s vision. Visiting the blue domes of Oia and a unique volcanic beach with dramatic grey cliffs and lava formations was high on their wish list. These iconic Santorini locations added variety, contrast, and a sense of adventure to their wedding gallery.
First Dance and Evening Celebration
The wedding day concluded on a restaurant terrace overlooking the volcano and the caldera. The couple surprised their guests with a first dance before a warm family dinner. After heartfelt congratulations and emotional moments, we completed our photography and videography coverage, allowing the couple to fully enjoy their evening together.
